At Accrease, we make data and technology come to life for the business. We are now looking for an experienced consultant with deep knowledge of Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and a strong business and marketing mindset to join our award-winning team.

This role is less about deep technical implementation and more about turning capabilities into outcomes: helping our clients design meaningful customer journeys, define the right requirements, enable their organizations, and fully realize the value of their Adobe investments.

You don't need to be the most technical person in the room, but you need to understand how things work well enough to guide decisions, set requirements, and challenge solutions when needed.

Life as a Marketing Automation Consultant at Accrease

As a Marketing Automation Consultant (Business), you will work closely with our clients to translate business goals into effective, automated customer journeys. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding both marketing and business stakeholders in how to best use Adobe Journey Optimizer to drive engagement, conversion, and customer experience.

Your day-to-day work will revolve around:
  • Designing and setting up customer journeys in Adobe Journey Optimizer

  • Facilitating workshops and requirement sessions with business and marketing stakeholders

  • Advising on use cases, orchestration strategies, and channel activation

  • Enabling client teams through training, documentation, and best practices

  • Bridging the gap between business intent and technical delivery

  • Taking on project or engagement lead responsibilities when needed

Key responsibilities

Customer journey design & orchestration: Design, configure, and optimize customer journeys in Adobe Journey Optimizer with a clear focus on business impact and marketing outcomes.

Business & requirement facilitation: Help clients capture, structure, and prioritize business requirements and translate them into actionable AJO use cases.

Trusted advisor & enablement: Act as a sparring partner for marketing and business teams, providing guidance, best practices, and strategic direction.

Training & adoption: Conduct trainings and hands-on sessions to ensure client teams can confidently use AJO and become self-sufficient over time.

Value realization: Ensure that marketing automation initiatives are measurable, relevant, and aligned with broader customer and business strategies.

Your profile

You are a confident, business-oriented consultant who enjoys helping organizations succeed with marketing automation. Not just implementing tools, but making them work in practice.

We expect that you:
  • Solid experience with marketing automation, preferably within enterprise environments

  • Deep knowledge of Adobe Journey Optimizer as an expert or highly experienced user

  • Ability to think in use cases, customer journeys, and business outcomes

  • Strong stakeholder skills and experience acting as a trusted advisor

  • Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, pragmatic, and business-friendly way

  • Comfort in a consulting environment, with a track record of taking ownership of client success

It's a strong plus if you:
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Platform and related Adobe tools

  • Background in customer journey orchestration, personalization, or CRM activation

  • Experience enabling or training marketing teams

  • Adobe Certified Expert in Adobe Journey Optimizer or related products
