About the Role
As a Senior BI Developer at Arctic Wolf Networks, you will design, develop, and maintain modern analytics solutions that enable data-driven decisions across the business. You will build trusted data products using SQL and Tableau, while expanding our cloud analytics and AI capabilities using Snowflake Cortex, dbt, Python, and AWS services such as Lambda. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality, actionable insights, provide production support, troubleshoot complex data quality and reporting issues, and continuously improve data reliability, performance, and developer experience.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain analytics transformations in Snowflake with strong testing, documentation, and version control.
Prototype and productionize AI-enabled analytics using Snowflake Cortex and frontier LLM workflows (LLM agents, semantic-layer training) with appropriate evaluation and guardrails.
Design curated data marts and reusable metrics/semantic definitions for consistent Tableau and downstream consumption.
Drive quality via architecture/design/code reviews and CI/CD using tools like Git and dbt.
Model and query analytical data with advanced SQL and sound dimensional/data modeling.
Deliver end-to-end BI solutions (data sourcing, modeling, Tableau dashboards) by partnering with stakeholders to define scope, communicate status/risks, and deliver iteratively.
Automate data pipelines using AWS Lambda and Python.
Apply business operations knowledge to translate needs into scalable metrics and reporting.
Understand source data from business systems (CRM/ERP/HCM; e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday) and how it drives KPIs and analytics.
Who You Are
Proficiency with BI delivery practices (schedules, workflows, data movements, monitoring) and production support.
Strong SQL skills and demonstrated ability to build reliable, well-modeled analytical datasets (e.g., dimensional modeling).
Experience building on Snowflake (performance tuning, security, role-based access, and cost-aware design).
AWS Lambda (or equivalent serverless patterns) experience is required; Python proficiency (data wrangling, APIs, automation) is strongly preferred.
Hands-on experience with dbt (models, tests, macros, documentation) and modern analytics engineering practices is strongly preferred.
Experience with predictive analytics and ML modeling (e.g., feature engineering, model training/validation, and deploying or operationalizing models in a production analytics environment) is strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of frontier LLMs and agentic patterns (LLM agents, semantic layer training, prompting, evaluation, and guardrails) is preferred; familiarity with Snowflake Cortex/LLM capabilities is a plus.
Experience with business operations practices is preferred.
Understanding of core business systems and their data models (CRM/ERP/HCM; e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday) is preferred.
Proven track record of independently completing end-to-end projects and delivering high-quality BI solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data and reporting issues.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Minimum Qualifications
4+ years of experience developing BI solutions using Tableau (or similar) and strong SQL; experience on modern cloud analytics platforms (Snowflake preferred) and transformation frameworks (dbt preferred).
AWS Lambda (or equivalent serverless compute) experience is required; Python proficiency for analytics engineering, automation, and/or data tooling is strongly preferred.
Experience integrating analytics with AI/LLM capabilities (e.g., Snowflake Cortex or comparable services) is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with business systems data (CRM/ERP/HCM; e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday) and translating operational processes into analytical requirements and KPI definitions.
Experience with predictive analytics and ML modeling strongly preferred (e.g., feature engineering, model training/validation, and deploying or operationalizing models in a production analytics environment).
Experience working in a SaaS environment
