Job Description Summary

The Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer is responsible for interpreting and translating complex business needs into scalable, actionable data solutions. This role focuses on defining, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, and CRM Analytics (CRMA). The ideal candidate will partner closely with business stakeholders to apply strong critical thinking skills: analyzing data trends, questioning assumptions, and continuously validating approaches to drive innovative and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:
  • Data Visualization & Business Intelligence:
Design, develop, and implement advanced data visualizations and BI applications that empower business leaders to make informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Critical Thinking & Analytical Rigor:
Apply critical thinking to systematically analyse data, evaluate trends, and challenge existing assumptions.
  • Continuously review and refine BI models, ensuring that insights are not only accurate but also actionable.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into clear technical specifications, ensuring BI solutions meet real-world needs.
Communicate complex data insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strategic Metrics & Performance Indicators:
Establish and maintain key business metrics and performance indicators that align with strategic objectives, ensuring that each visualization supports the broader business strategy.
  • Cross-functional Team Collaboration:
Work with diverse teams to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and optimal performance across all BI solutions.
  • Dashboard Enhancement & Visual Storytelling:
Continuously improve dashboard usability and employ best practices in visualization to craft compelling data narratives that directly support business strategies.
  • Communication of Complex Concepts.
Translate complex data concepts into easily digestible information to facilitate strategic decision-making at all organizational levels.Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Understanding of data pipeline concepts (e.g. ETL, scripting common analysis workflows)
  • Have experience applying experimentation and advanced statistical methods to measure incremental impact across user lifecycle initiatives.
  • Highly proficient with SQL and have experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, CRMA)
Preferred:
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Prior commerical real estate experience (national firm experience preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in roles requiring discretion, autonomy, and organizational leadership.
  • Prior experience supporting executives or high-net-worth individuals is strongly preferred.
