Based at our Port Botany Terminal in Sydney, the Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will play a key role in connecting Technology and Operations to deliver insights that drive more informed decisions at DP World. In this high-impact role, you’ll partner closely with business leaders to transform operational and commercial data into intuitive dashboards, KPIs, and reporting solutions that enhance performance and accountability. You’ll help embed a data-driven culture, strengthen reporting governance, and elevate the adoption of analytics across the wider DP World network.

Key Accountabilities
Act as a trusted business partner to DP World’s business units, translating operational priorities into meaningful reporting, analysis, and actionable insights.
Collaborate with regional and global teams to align reporting and drive consistency across the DP World network.
Develop a strong understanding of operational and commercial metrics to improve performance visibility, decision-making, and accountability.
Design intuitive dashboards and models that enable stakeholders to effectively self-service and use insights
Contribute to the transition of business intelligence platforms, including report migration, data model alignment, dashboard redevelopment, whilst ensuring compliance with agreed governance standards.
Promote data quality and reporting consistency through issue identification and best practice.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Tertiary Qualifications in Business/Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline. (Essential)
- 5 years’ experience in business intelligence, reporting, analytics, or related data-focused roles.
- Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders, translate business needs, and deliver reporting solutions that support operational and commercial decisions.
Strong data governance and data quality capability, with a focus on consistent reporting and KPI standards.
- Comprehensive Power BI development and data modelling skills.
- Strong Data Base Management skills and the ability to work with data from multiple operational systems.
- Ability to translate data into clear insights and reporting that support operational improvement and strategic objectives.
- Experience working with Terminal Operating Systems or comparable platforms (Desirable)
