Our Opportunity
We’re looking for a passionate BI Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team to help build a culture of data-informed decision-making across the company.
You’ll partner with various teams within Snyk’s to generate insights and inform good, efficient decision-making through data.
You know how to make sure data is accurate, well-organized, and accessible. You’ll use that knowledge to collaborate with internal stakeholders to build the reporting infrastructure we use to support the data needs of our business.
You’ll Spend Your Time:
- Working with Snyk’s data ecosystem and applying a diverse set of skills in analytics, reporting and visualization to tackle cross-functional problems and answering business questions.
- Building accessible and intuitive tools and dashboards that accelerate measurement and reporting of KPIs and insight generation.
- Enabling teams to explore data and measure, track, and monitor against their objectives.
- Evangelizing data use across the company.
- Implementing data models and data governance processes to ensure scalability and maintainability.
What You’ll Need:
- Care deeply about helping others make data-driven decisions.
- Have an “insight-ready” mindset: you don’t just report the data; you generate insights & provide business recommendations.
- Are comfortable with prioritizing and managing multiple cross-functional projects at once in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have strong skills in reporting using Looker (preferable) or equivalent. Should be able to utilize other technologies like CRM Analytics when suitable to business needs .
- Have strong SQL skills, experience in querying large, complex data sets.
- Some exposure to Snowflake or equivalent and dbt or other ETL tool equivalent.
- Have experience delivering BI-related training to end-users.
- Are organized, collaborative, hands-on, self-motivated, and an open communicator.
- Are comfortable working in a globally distributed team across several time zones.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
We’d be Lucky if You:
- 3+ years in analytics and business intelligence roles.
- SaaS experience.
