Job Requirement

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret large complex datasets to provide actionable insights. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support decision-making. Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to inform business strategies.

  • Business Intelligence Tools: Expertise in uUtilizing BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView to create interactive dashboards and reports. Maintain and optimize existing BI solutions to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, supply chain, and finance, to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions. Partner with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.

  • Data Management: Define data structures for the site, compile data from multiple databases, and establish master data. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across systems.

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation using data insights. Support digital transformation initiatives by leveraging data analytics. Use of tools to automate repetitive tasks and optimize workflows across different systems.

  • Data Visualization: Expertise in creating clear reports and dashboards (Power BI) that enable operational managers to make decisions.

  • Predictive and Statistical Modeling: Knowledge of modeling techniques to anticipate future outcomes and support strategic decision-making.

  • Strategic Insights: Provide insights to support strategic planning, forecasting, and performance measurement. Conduct ad hoc analyses to address specific business questions or challenges.

Key Skills and Qualification

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering

  • Minimum 2-3 years in a manufacturing/MRO environment, aviation industry preferred

  • Able to utilize Microsoft power platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps)

  • Programming experience (Python, VBA, SQL)

  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools

  • Knowledge of database management systems is an asset

  • Knowledge of SAP is an asset

  • Proven experience in a similar role with a focus on data analytics for continuous improvement

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Demonstrated high level of autonomy and curiosity to identify improvement opportunities
