Your day at NTT DATA

The Business Improvement Specialist is responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing strategies to enhance business efficiency, streamline processes, and drive operational excellence. This role is key to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring sustainable business growth.

What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Analysis & Optimization: Assess and improve business processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and eliminate waste.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze key business metrics and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Develop and implement Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to drive business excellence.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with different departments to ensure alignment on improvement projects.
• Technology & Automation: Identify opportunities to implement digital solutions that improve workflow and productivity.
• Project Management: Lead business improvement initiatives, ensuring timely execution and successful outcomes.
• Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and track progress of implemented strategies to measure effectiveness.
• Change Management: Drive adoption of new processes and foster a culture of innovation and efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in business process improvement, operational optimization, or strategy development.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and change management skills.
• Ability to influence decision-makers and lead cross-functional teams.
• Experience with business intelligence tools and automation software is an advantage.
