Are you passionate about driving business value through user-centric product development and process optimization? We are now looking for a Senior Business Expert to join the Product Development team, where you will play a key role in shaping the future of the product creation process when it comes to people, data and tech related to the new PLM system Centric, for all product types.
Product Creation is one of two areas in the central function of Product Offer Development & Support (POD&S). By transforming how we operate through industry leading capabilities for fashion design and product development - people, process, data and tech - we enable H&M to liberate fashion for the many.
As a Senior Business Expert within Product Creation your core responsibility is to ensure that the product meets end-user needs while delivering significant value to the business. You act as a business ambassador, collaborating closely with various roles and stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and achieve desired outcomes that contribute to business value. You bring a dual perspective—deep business expertise combined with a strong understanding of the technical aspects of product development — which enables you to drive change, optimize processes, and ensure successful and smooth product implementation.
Key responsibilities:
- Secure the product creation E2E business process when it comes to creating products, add specifications such as BOM, colorways, sample, artwork and pattern.
- Communication between Assortment Office, Production Office and suppliers. Take lead in securing a simplified and more efficient process for the way of working.
- Be the link between the Product Development teams and suppliers and take lead in finding ways to improve the collaboration between assortment product teams and suppliers.
- Investigate and set business requirements and processes.
- Testing and validation of new features and workflows.
- Collaborate closely with end- users, investigate their needs and secure successful adoption of new features.
- Drive change management and hold training in Centric for Production Office and suppliers.
- Incident management.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
What is POD&S (Product Offer Development & Support)? POD&S is a critical function within Product Operations, responsible for enabling an industry‑leading product offer. The team develops business methods, tools, and drives change, innovation, and tech development across the product lifecycle. By supporting the product flow—from product creation and demand planning to product purchase—POD&S ensures the delivery of the brand plan and secures both short‑ and long‑term business impact.
WHO YOU ARE
- Experience in collaborating cross functionally between the Assortment Office and Production Office.
- Experience of working with product development in the Production Office.
- Experience of working closely with suppliers.
- Understanding of collection buying and different ways of working with product development.
- Experience of working with Centric is a bonus.
