Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Execution Consultant for the Wholesale Operations group supporting the build out of the Digital and Intelligent automation functions.
In this role, individual will be part of the Wholesale Operational Excellence function involved in delivering cross line of business change across Wholesale Operations. The centralized model helps to apply structure, consistency, and drive execution results for the Wholesale Operations Strategic and Risk priorities. The role is critical to the Wholesale Operations Opex team support and help keep the functional leaders and managers in the day-to-day operations of serving our clients.
The individual is expected to have strong background of running and managing transformation initiatives around Digital and Intelligent automation, experience in implementing Agile Delivery models and working as an Internal Consultant solving business problems of varied nature. The incumbent will be required to work under stringent timelines, maintain strong engagement with multiple functions in a matrix environment. The individual will take lead in working stakeholders to identify current challenges around Digital and Intelligent automation, help identify pain points, risk, and gaps. Post which implement solutions leveraging platforms like, Xceptor and working alongside multiple partners.
In this role, the Senior Business Execution consultant will focus on:
- Design and document new business requirements to drive change or enhancements.
- Lead support functions or operations for multiple business groups and contribute to large scale strategic initiatives.
- Ensure efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness of solutions, and pipeline management relating to assigned operations.
- Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution, and understanding of international business.
- Work independently to make recommendations for support function by providing support and leadership.
- Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience.
- Collaborate and consult with team leaders in developing project plans, policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership in management of relationships and implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners.
- 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
The individual will need to be able to demonstrate:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience working with the Xceptor tool / automation platforms.
- Experience with coding languages is a plus.
- Experience with Low Code / No Code build out, additional experience including Digital / Intelligent automation, workflow, and OCR.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in financial services.
- Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of the organization.
- Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership.
- Leadership skills including the ability to influence effectively in a matrix environment.
- Experience effectively assessing stakeholder, partner, or client needs while consulting, building solutions, and developing processes.
- Experience working in AGILE methodology and SCRUM process (sprint planning, product backlog refinement, retrospectives etc.), with ability to elicit requirements, user stories, familiar with tool like JIRA and Confluence
- Monitoring progress of the projects through governance meetings and provide regular updates to senior management & stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally at all levels including executives, managers, and SMEs.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and deploy soft skills to move work forward despite challenges.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy with ability to evaluate data and draw meaningful business conclusions.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Thrives in fast-paced agile, dynamic environment and can track multiple, complex projects simultaneously.
