About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Execution Consultant - Fraud Detections Business Consultant & Support. This role serves as a key business partner within Fraud Detection Operations, supporting Account Takeover (ATO) and Prevention Contact Center (PCC) teams through process improvement, risk and control management, governance, and operational execution. The successful candidate will work closely with Operations, Risk, Compliance, Audit, Technology, and senior leaders to strengthen fraud prevention processes, drive operational excellence, improve customer and employee experiences, and ensure effective management of fraud-related risks and controls. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and has experience supporting fraud, financial crimes, or operational risk functions.
In this role, you will:
  • Lead business execution and operational initiatives that strengthen fraud risk management, operational effectiveness, and customer outcomes across Fraud Detection Operations.
  • Drive process improvements by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, improve controls, reduce manual effort, and enhance execution consistency across Prevention Contact Center (PCC) and Account Takeover (ATO) operations.
  • Research, analyze, and recommend solutions for business, operational, and strategic initiatives related to fraud operations, risk management, and business performance.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Operations leaders by providing strategic support, insights, and execution leadership for key business priorities.
  • Own procedure governance and business readiness activities, ensuring procedures, job aids, and documentation remain current, compliant, and aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Support risk and control management through issue identification, escalation, audit support, RCSA activities, corrective action plans, and ongoing monitoring of the control environment.
  • Analyze operational performance, production trends, service levels, inventory metrics, and operational risks to provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives, governance routines, and continuous improvement efforts to drive sustainable solutions and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Control, and Audit partners to develop strategies, implement solutions, and achieve business objectives.
  • Develop executive-level reporting, presentations, and business insights to support decision-making, strategic planning, and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance through effective documentation, strong controls, and disciplined execution of commitments and deliverables.
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in fraud detection, fraud prevention, financial crimes, account takeover (ATO), Prevention Contact Center (PCC) or related operations.
  • Experience with issue management, risk and control frameworks, audit support, and corrective action plans.
  • Process ownership, governance, and operational excellence experience within a regulated environment.
  • Proven ability to identify risks, drive process improvements, and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities while delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders and executive stakeholders to provide strategic insights, deliver executive-level presentations, and influence business, risk, and operational decisions.
  • Experience leading cross-functional meetings, governance routines, and business readiness initiatives.
  • Knowledge of fraud investigations, account takeover fraud, online transaction fraud, and financial crime trends.
  • Proficiency with JIRA or similar tools for workflow, issue, and project management.
  • Experience developing and maintaining procedures, job aids, and operational documentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to partner effectively across Operations, Technology, Risk, Control, Compliance, Legal, and Audit teams.
  • Experience monitoring operational performance, service levels, and production metrics.
  • Experience supporting business execution, process improvement, or control functions within a large financial institution.
Job Expectations:
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:30 PM with some flexibility
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed
