Title and Summary
Senior Business Development Specialist - Corporate Solutions (CNPF)
Corporate Solutions is one of the three core verticals within Mastercard's Commercial & New Payment Flows (CNPF) organization, alongside SME Solutions and Transfer Solutions. Corporate Solutions focuses on expanding commercial payments for large corporates and enterprise customers-scaling carded and non-carded B2B flows, enhancing commercial acceptance, driving embedded payments, and supporting growth across priority verticals.
This role sits within the Business Development function, supporting growth across priority markets and segments. The Senior Specialist will drive pipeline development, partner engagement, and execution of strategic opportunities-working closely with Sales, Product, and regional teams to accelerate commercial outcomes.
Role Summary
The Senior Specialist, Business Development is responsible for supporting the identification, development, and execution of growth opportunities across Corporate Solutions.
Operating at the intersection of partnerships, product, and sales, this role requires strong knowledge of Corporate Solutions (e.g., commercial cards, embedded finance, AP/AR flows), combined with a proactive, execution-oriented mindset to drive pipeline conversion and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Pipeline Growth• Identify, qualify, and progress new business opportunities across target segments (e.g., platforms, large corporates, ecosystems)• Build and manage a robust pipeline aligned to regional priorities and growth targets• Support deal structuring, value proposition development, and commercial discussions• Track pipeline health, conversion metrics, and deal progression
Partnership & Ecosystem Development• Engage with platform partners, fintechs, and ecosystem players to unlock embedded finance opportunities• Support onboarding and scaling of strategic partners across APAC• Identify white-space opportunities across industries (e.g., travel, logistics, marketplaces, ERP platforms)
Stakeholder Collaboration• Partner across Sales, Product, Finance, and regional teams to align on priorities and execution• Act as a connector across teams to ensure momentum on key strategic initiatives• Build strong internal relationships to navigate a matrixed organization effectively
All About You
Must Have• Experience in Business Development, Sales, Partnerships, Corporate Strategy, or a related commercial role• Demonstrated experience sourcing, structuring, and commercializing strategic partnerships across marketplaces, ERP platforms, fintechs, or embedded finance ecosystem• Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and regional teams to develop go-to-market strategies and support successful deal execution• Strong understanding of commercial card products, embedded finance, B2B payments, or enterprise payment flows• Proven experience managing pipelines and supporting commercial growth initiative• Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate client needs into business solutions• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills in a matrixed environment• Ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and execute with pace and urgency• Bachelor's degree required
