The Work You’ll Do
This position is responsible for generating market demand for Sovos’ innovative solutions and services by securing sales meetings with potential clients across Malaysia and the APAC region. By leveraging networking, prospecting, and marketing campaign follow-ups, you will connect with organizations to identify needs and introduce Sovos’ capabilities.
You will be an essential player in expanding Sovos’ presence in the region, with a strong focus on building relationships across diverse linguistic and cultural environments.
More Specifically You Will
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment to advance Sovos’ marketing and sales strategies
- Work directly with Sovos’ clients to support solution implementation
- Meet or exceed telemarketing and revenue goals
- Independently introduce and promote Sovos’ solutions to prospective clients
- Collaborate with Sales Executives to build and execute territory plans
- Follow structured telemarketing and sales processes
- Forecast revenue and engagement outcomes regularly
- Continuously improve outbound strategies and tools
- Uphold integrity and ethical conduct in all business dealings
- Drive customer satisfaction through responsiveness and support
- Demonstrate self-motivation, energy, and commitment to success
- Show a strong appetite for personal growth and professional development
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 12 months of success in a Business Development Representative (BDR) role, with a manager recommendation
- Proven ability to exceed performance quotas related to calls, meetings, and pipeline development
- Leadership experience within a BDR team or involvement in cross-functional initiatives
- At least 2 years’ experience in the software industry; SaaS exposure is a plus
- Proficiency in CRM systems like Salesforce and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- Familiarity with quota-based environments and the ability to outperform goals
- Understanding of business structures, financial systems, and decision-making processes
- Confidence in engaging mid- to senior-level decision-makers
- Problem-solving mindset and adaptability
