Join Collibra’s North America Business Development Team
As a Senior Business Development Representative for Collibra, you will be joining a team of hardworking, goal-oriented, high-achieving business development representatives. You will be focused on driving new business enterprise prospects in your assigned region for the sales cycle and supporting your Account Executives with pipeline building activities.
Business Development Representatives at Collibra are responsible for
- Primarily focused on inbound leads from Marketing and partner teams and hunting down prospects, qualifying them to understand their buying aptitude and utilize advanced prospecting skills. KPIs include sourcing qualified opportunities for your AEs and helping them progress to an advanced opportunity stage.
- Architect targeted account campaigns with AEs and focused outbound with targeted Sales Plays and specific marketing programs
- Engage in prospect-facing meetings to introduce Collibra and assess where our solution fits their needs.
- Nurture and educate prospects to help them understand Collibra’s value, and help them navigate into a formal evaluation process while supporting your AEs to close deal cycles.
- Be a team player and collaborate with direct and cross-functional team members to help Collibra expand quickly in the market.
You have
- Selling in the Enterprise space required
- Strategic lead development experience SaaS preferred
- 1+ years experience using high-impact prospecting skills to navigate large institutions while engaging C-level/ line of business executives
- Salesforce.com proficiency to build prospecting reports, research accounts and contacts
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related working experience is required
- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
You are
- An excellent communicator with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable engaging both high and wide in accounts and can effectively pursue C-level and business-line executives
- A hunter’s mentality with a history of overachievement generating qualified sales opportunities and overall quota achievement.
- Effective with time management in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Looking for growth opportunities to become a field sales rep
- Energetic, ambitious, and passionate; pioneering a growing and successful team
Measures of success
- Within your first month, you will go through onboarding, get comfortable with the systems and processes and get to know the team and the company.
- Within your third month, you will be fully ramped, have built rapport with cross-functional teams and be proficient with the Collibra value proposition.
- Within your sixth month, you will be able to showcase the Collibra platform, achieve performance metrics and be a Collibra ambassador!
Compensation for This Role
The standard rate for this position is $26.92 - 33.65 per hour. This position is eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Hourly rates are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location.
In addition, we offer equity ownership at every level, bonus potential, a Flex Fund monthly stipend, pension/401k plans, and more.
