Your role

Ohme Belgium are looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join the growing office in Brussels (we are in the office 3 days a week).

You will be responsible for managing and growing our distribution sales channel: oversee the entire sales process, from identifying new business opportunities to maintaining strong relationships with our wholesale distributors and reseller partners. Your expertise will help us expand our market presence and drive long-term success.

 

Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Own and drive business development activities across Belgium
  • Identify, develop, and close opportunities with key EV ecosystem players (installers, distributors, fleet partners, utilities, etc.)
  • Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to contract signature
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets for Ohme EV charging solutions
  • Develop strategic partnerships to strengthen Ohme’s route-to-market in Belgium
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across hardware, software, and services

Market & Ecosystem Development

  • Leverage existing knowledge of the Belgian charging infrastructure market to accelerate growth
  • Build long-term relationships with key installers and distributors
  • Represent Ohme at industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to refine positioning and pricing
  • Provide structured feedback from the market to Sales Leadership and Product teams

Who You Are

  • A senior, autonomous sales professional who thrives in a fast-moving scale-up environment
  • Strong network and understanding of the Belgian EV charging ecosystem (installers, distributors, MSPs, utilities)
  • Commercially driven, with a consultative and partnership-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with international teams
  • Clear and confident communicator, able to explain technical solutions simply

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Partnerships
  • Proven track record in EV charging, energy, mobility, or adjacent industries
  • Strong understanding of the Belgian market dynamics
  • Fluent in French and Dutch; professional working proficiency in English
  • Willingness to travel across Belgium and occasionally to Ohme HQ in London
  • Experience with CRM tools and structured sales processes
