About the role - Mō te tūranga
In this pivotal role, you’ll lead growth across strategically important customers, identifying opportunities, managing high-value bids and tenders, and driving new business that strengthens our national network.
Additionally, you will:
- Shape market strategy – develop and execute growth plans to enter new markets and expand share.
- Drive commercial excellence – leverage analytics, CRM insights, and pricing strategy to maximise conversion and revenue.
- Embed best practice – uplifting sales processes, pipeline management, and reporting across the business.
- Collaborate cross-functionally – work closely with operations, finance, commercial, and IT teams to deliver seamless, value-driven solutions.
- Mentor future talent – share your expertise and help grow sales capability across the national team.

- Industry experience within transport, logistics, or supply chain, with proven success in national business development.
- Exceptional negotiation skills
- Strategic thinking and strong commercial acumen
- Demonstrated success in winning and growing major accounts
- Resilience, adaptability, and drive to succeed in a competitive market.
- CRM experience, Salesforce desirable.
