About the Role
Join Emma’s dynamic E-commerce team and take the lead in driving our growth in Switzerland. As a key force behind our Swiss market expansion, you will play a pivotal role in shaping strategy, unlocking new opportunities, and accelerating our e-commerce success. With your expertise, we will move closer to our ambitious vision: becoming the world’s number one sleep brand.
What you'll do:
- You will continuously optimize our business and develop new initiatives to help fuel growth.
- You will conduct research to identify and lead business opportunities, growth areas, trends, services, and overall brand proposition.
- You will build market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.
- You will identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
- You will screen potential business deals by analysing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.
- You will run frequent deep dives to reveal business opportunities and find interesting niches by anticipating trends that help you prioritize your key levers.
- You will define and execute the right growth strategy by crafting and correctly positioning the right product portfolio in the right channels at the right price.
- You will be looking for opportunities for growth outside of the status quo and building new scalable business cases based on your ideas. These can include exploring new marketing and sales channels, new communication aspects as well as launching new products.
- You will collaborate closely with operations, customer excellence, legal, and accounting teams to maintain a stable backbone of the market.
Who we are looking for:
- You have deep knowledge and experience in the Swiss market (required).
- You have studied Business Administration/Marketing/Economics or any related university program.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in a role in Marketing, Business Development, or E-commerce (start-up exposure is a plus).
- You have very good English communication skills.
- You have strong analytical skills and learn quickly.
- You like to take on responsibility and can work independently.
- You have drive, ambition, and a genuine interest in how to grow business.
