Job DescriptionAs a Senior Business Development Manager, you will focus on driving enterprise adoption of Wise Platform’s embedded solutions, with a targeted emphasis on the Fintech/Broker vertical (e.g.,Online investment platforms, BaaS providers, Neo Banks, remittance providers, etc) and related enterprise marketplaces.
You will leverage your deep network and payments experience to hit the ground running, managing complex deal cycles and delivering high-value partnership agreements. Success
in this role is driven by achieving volume and revenue targets, with significant upside in performance commission and equity.
Responsibilities
● Enterprise Client Acquisition: Acquire high-value enterprise accounts across North America by tapping into your network and identifying high-impact use cases. ● End-to-End Deal Ownership: Lead the entire enterprise sales cycle from prospecting, solution discovery, and technical discovery to contract negotiation and closing.
● Vertical Strategy: Deepen Wise Platform’s presence in the Fintech sector by researching market trends, targeting key decision-makers, and crafting tailored value propositions.
● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Legal, Compliance, Product, Solutions Engineering, and Strategy teams to negotiate complex commercial contracts and ensure seamless client onboarding.
● Pipeline & Metric Rigor: Build and maintain a qualified enterprise pipeline, providing accurate forecasting against targets and contributing best practices to scale our US enterprise sales strategy.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
● Enterprise Sales Experience: 5+ years selling complex technology solutions to enterprise accounts, with at least 2+ years in a closing capacity selling API infrastructure, enterprise fintech, embedded finance, or complex B2B SaaS solutions.
● Proven Track Record: Demonstrated history of consistently exceeding revenue quotas, targets, and sales KPIs.
● Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel across North America as needed for executive presentations, partner meetings, and industry conferences.
Preferred Qualifications
● Fintech Industry Network: Established network of key payment and finance decision-makers across the fintech and brokerage sectors.
● Technical Acumen: Proven success selling API-first solutions, with the technical depth to comfortably guide integration discussions with C-suite executives, product managers, and engineering teams.
● Strategic Solution Selling: Expertise in consultative selling, negotiation, and executive alignment, with a focus on tailoring value propositions directly to client pain points.
