We're seeking an ambitious, consultative sales professional to join our North America New Business team in Chicago. Your Impact

As a Senior Business Development Executive, you'll drive new business growth across a portfolio of high-potential corporate accounts. You'll identify strategic opportunities, engage executive stakeholders, and position Euromonitor as a trusted advisor to organizations navigating rapidly evolving markets.

You'll work closely with senior leaders across our research, consulting, and commercial teams to bring enterprise-wide solutions to clients while helping shape sales strategy and best practices across the organization.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans that drive new business opportunities within Fortune 500 and similar organizations.
  • Identify business challenges, market opportunities, and intelligence gaps where Euromonitor can deliver measurable value.
  • Build relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers across multiple business functions.
  • Lead complex, consultative sales engagements from initial outreach through negotiation and close.
  • Collaborate with research, consulting, and commercial leaders to design tailored solutions aligned to customer priorities.
  • Navigate sophisticated buying processes while effectively managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Expand Euromonitor's presence within new industries, markets, and target accounts through proactive prospecting and relationship development.
  • Represent the Euromonitor brand through client engagements, industry events, thought leadership, and networking opportunities.
  • Contribute innovative ideas, best practices, and market insights that improve sales effectiveness and team performance.
  • Challenge conventional approaches and identify new ways to create value for customers and the business.

Requirements

What You'll Bring

  • A proven track record of success in business development, enterprise sales, market intelligence, information services, SaaS, consulting, or a related field.
  • Experience engaging and influencing senior executives and decision-makers within large, complex, multinational organizations.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to uncover business needs and align solutions to strategic objectives.
  • Expertise in developing and executing sales and account strategies that generate new business and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Confidence managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, lengthy buying processes, and high-value opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for prospecting, creating opportunities, and winning new business.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in understanding industries, markets, and the strategic challenges facing global organizations.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

Preferred Experience

  • 5+ years of success in enterprise B2B sales, business development, consulting, market research, information services, or related industries.
  • Experience selling high-value or enterprise-level solutions to large organizations.
  • Demonstrated success generating new business and expanding relationships within Fortune 1000 or multinational corporations.

At Euromonitor International, we are committed to transparency and pay equity.  Pursuant to Illinois law, we provide salary range and benefit info on all job postings based in our Chicago office.  The base salary range for this role is $92,000- 118,000 based on experience and qualifications.  Alongside Salary, we offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance options, 401k, paid time off, hybrid work set up, core hours and other perks to support a positive work environment.
