Job Description
- Trusted Advisor: Understand our customer's existing and future business requirements and product roadmap to drive and expand WNC’s product portfolio and our relationship as Trusted Advisor to our client.
- Strategic Development: Continuously assess, clarify, and validate customer needs, leading efforts to maximize business within the account. Develop and execute business development strategies across all relevant WNC Product areas.
- Executive Participation: Candidate shall have existing positive Executive Level relationships at Verizon and will coordinate executive meetings with Verizon and WNC Leadership. The candidate will lead meeting preparation and discussions.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: In collaboration with WNC BU’s and Operations, candidate will interface with supply chain, sourcing, marketing, and product development teams to ensure consistent messaging and obtain critical information for business growth.
- Communication Management and Relationship Building: Handle day-to-day correspondence and communication with directors and executives within customers in product management, technology, and procurement. Initiate direct business relationships and interactions with top influencers and decision-makers to achieve desired objectives.
- Business Continuity:
- Account Planning: Lead the account planning process, analyze business opportunities and develop performance objectives and financial targets.
- Business Continuity: Proactively review and validate customer forecasts in collaboration with WNC BU’s and Operations to prevent supply gaps. Collaborate closely with customer inventory planning and WNC BU and Operations to ensure uninterrupted supply chain operations.
- Solution Development: In collaboration with WNC BU, lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, coordinating with all necessary company personnel.
- Quarterly Reviews: Organize and coordinate quarterly business review meetings, addressing all relevant topics from both WNC and the customer.
- International Travel: Travel to foreign countries as required to accompany key customers.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years with a proven track record of business development and sales goal achievement, including at least 5 years of executive relationships/engagement with Tier 1 Telco operators. Deep understanding of Broadband Service Providers with a proven track record in business development.
- Comprehensive ecosystem knowledge and ability to build and maintain strategic alliances.
- Proactive self-starter with strong presentation skills.
- Capable of creating innovative business model proposals, demonstrating executive presence, and managing relationships effectively.
- Quick learner with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong work ethic, team-player mentality, and ability to multitask efficiently.
