Job Description

The Senior Business Development Coordinator (Sr. BDC) supports business development and proposal operations across International, Domestic, and U.S. Federal divisions. Reporting to the Business Development Lead, the Sr. BDC manages day-to-day capture and proposal activities, including tracking opportunities, coordinating research, supporting partnerships, and ensuring timely, compliant submissions. The role also maintains proposal resources and supports knowledge sharing, while collaborating with internal teams and external partners and occasionally representing the company at events and meetings.

  • Support the Business Development Lead and Executive Management in executing BD strategies across International, Domestic, and Federal markets
  • Monitor, analyze, and track opportunities from multilateral development banks, U.S. Government agencies, and domestic public-sector clients
  • Support capture planning, including opportunity assessments, teaming strategies, competitive analysis, and win themes
  • Maintain accurate opportunity pipeline data and contribute to forecasting and reporting
  • Serve as Proposal Manager or Facilitator on assigned opportunities
  • Coordinate internal teams and external partners to ensure compliance with solicitation requirements
  • Manage proposal schedules, outlines, compliance matrices, and production activities
  • Oversee CVs, past performance references, and project descriptions for accuracy and compliance
  • Support preparation of capabilities statements and presentations
  • Facilitate collaboration across International, Domestic, and Federal divisions to ensure consistent BD practices and messaging
  • Liaise with technical, finance, contracts, and leadership teams to support proposal development and pricing
  • Support partner identification, vetting, and coordination
  • Other duties are required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Development, International Relations, Public Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • ·5+ years of experience in business development, capture support, or proposal management.
  • ·Experience supporting international development, U.S. Federal, and/or domestic public-sector opportunities.
  • ·Strong writing, editing, and proposal coordination skills.
  • ·Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • ·Ability to manage multiple priorities in deadline-driven environments.
  • ·Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and BD tracking systems.

Additional Information

Proposed Salary: $85-105k annual, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Sheladia Associates, Inc. has made the best effort to accurately represent the pay range for this position, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and any applicable cost of living data relevant to the position/candidate.

Other compensation: opportunities for annual increase and bonus, and other types of bonuses.
