We Are Looking to Add a Key Member to our Data Delivery Team!
The Data Innovation Lead is a catalyst for reimagining how data can revolutionize our business and plays an instrumental role in executing upon the delivery of high impact data products that create tangible business value for GreatAmerica and our customers. This individual will work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, engaging in a diverse array of functional areas spanning Sales, Operations, Product, and beyond.

Success in this role will require a pioneering spirit and a well-rounded skillset including excellent analytical capabilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead through influence.
As a Data Innovation lead you will:
- Identify and execute upon high-leverage opportunities to apply AI, machine learning, and other advanced analytical tools and techniques to drive improved performance in areas such as revenue growth, cost reduction, and customer experience
- Respectfully challenge the status quo, identifying untapped opportunities to extract business value from data, and influencing requisite stakeholders to collaboratively pursue them
- Identify where gaps occur in data generation and/or collection including 3rd party data, and lead efforts to close those gaps and mine value from previously untapped sources of data
- Role model best practices for clear and compelling presentation of data insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Partner with business stakeholders to uncover unmet needs, and design and implement scalable data solutions to address those needs
- Provide mentorship and consultation to business leaders, upskilling data and AI literacy and accelerating the extent to which we integrate data insights into business strategies and decision making
- Employ an agile approach to rapidly prototype, deploy, and iterate upon data products
- Measure and communicate the impact of data products on business KPIs
- Cultivate a culture of experimentation and bold thinking
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Proficiency in analytical tools such as SQL, Python, Databricks, and advanced Excel.
- Expertise in AI, machine learning, and other advanced analytics techniques and tooling.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong ability to analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable business strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Proven ability to tackle difficult analytical challenges and deliver innovative solutions.
- Experience working within agile development frameworks.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in agile teams, adapt to changing priorities, and meet fast-paced deadlines.
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics or relevant field. Master’s degree or professional certification in Business Analytics is preferred.
Experience
- 5 or more years of experience performing business data analysis with a history of deriving actionable insights from complex datasets utilizing advanced analytics techniques.
