We're looking for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Business Consultant to join our UK Client Delivery team. This is a unique opportunity to play a leading role in shaping how lenders, conveyancers and industry partners adopt innovative digital solutions that improve customer outcomes and transform the property transaction experience.
As a Senior Business Consultant, you will leverage your deep expertise in UK mortgage lending, conveyancing and digital transformation to lead complex customer engagements from pre-sales discovery through to implementation, go-live and ongoing optimisation.
Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, you will help customers define their transformation vision, design future-state operating models and realise measurable value through adoption of PEXA's platform and broader group services.
You will also play a key leadership role internally, driving continuous improvement across our delivery frameworks, methodologies and customer engagement approaches as we scale our UK operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own end-to-end consulting engagements, ensuring exceptional quality and alignment with customer and PEXA strategic objectives.
- Build trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders, becoming a valued partner rather than a vendor.
- Represent PEXA at customer forums, industry events and executive-level engagements. Driving Pre-Sales and Solution Design
- Lead discovery workshops and scoping engagements with C-suite and senior operational stakeholders.
- Deliver compelling, insight-led product demonstrations.
- Support the development of business cases, value propositions and transformation roadmaps.
- Facilitate detailed design workshops to understand customer processes, operating models and strategic goals.
- Design scalable, robust solutions that maximise value realisation from PEXA adoption. Supporting Successful Delivery
- Provide delivery assurance throughout customer programmes, working closely with Client Delivery Managers and cross-functional teams.
- Identify and manage key risks, dependencies and stakeholder expectations.
- Champion best practice across scope, design, testing and readiness activities.
- Ensure high-quality outputs that support both customer outcomes and internal knowledge sharing. Driving Continuous Improvement
- Partner with customers post go-live to identify optimisation opportunities and benefits realisation initiatives.
- Provide market and customer insights that influence PEXA's product strategy and roadmap.
- Contribute to the evolution of consulting frameworks, methodologies and delivery standards. Developing Others
- Mentor and support colleagues across the Client Delivery team.
- Provide leadership across cross-functional initiatives and, as the business grows, potentially lead a multidisciplinary team.
What You’ll Bring
- Significant experience within the UK property industry, ideally across mortgage lending, conveyancing or related sectors.
- Experience in consulting, advisory or transformation leadership roles.
- Proven track record delivering large-scale digital and operational transformation programmes.
- Significant experience leading pre-sales activities, including solution shaping, business case development and executive stakeholder engagement.
- Strong understanding of the full product lifecycle, from product delivery and implementation through to operational support and continuous improvement.
- Experience working across Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams, with or without formal line management responsibility.
- Experience working with international teams across multiple time zones is advantageous. Skills & Capabilities
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding stakeholder management and influencing capabilities at executive and operational levels.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and bring clarity to complex challenges.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, capable of managing multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Customer-first mindset with a focus on delivering measurable business value.
