Senior Business Consultant-Financials

We are a virtual first company and your primary work experience will be virtual / working from your home, when not travelling to customers / prospects facilities in this specific role we are hiring for.  Occasional travel to a physical office may be required to enhance working relationships, collaboration, design, strategy and alignment.

We’re seeking an experienced/seasoned Business Professional or Consultant in Financial matters to join us as Senior or Principal Sales Engineer in our dynamic Business Consultancy team. This role, in QAD organization, is to accompany/support Sales Executives, in prospect or customer interaction, along the sales cycle for the net new business and the installed base opportunities.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to influence our product development regarding business evolutions and new needs from the market.

This is a fully remote role based in the Netherlands or Germany.

What will you do:

• Discover clients context, requirements and problems (business process assessment)

• Articulate our product portfolio against them

• Provide functional & technical expertise in RFP processes  

• Tailor product presentation and demonstration to specific contexts and audiences

• Hand over projects to implementation services 

• Shape long-term customer relationships

• Support QAD participation in trade shows and webinars with respect of his/her responsibilities

• Maintain his/her knowledge regarding industry standards and best practices

• Extensive knowledge of  Financial processes related to solutions (ERP and others)

• Experience with industrial companies

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills

• Strong data analysis and synthesis skills

• Excellent team worker

• Excellent English - verbal and written

• Mastering one additional European language, especially Dutch and/or German

• 10+ years of professional experience

• Knowledge in cloud computing is a plus

• Openness to travel to customer if needed

• Education: any certification related to the role is valuable (MBA, Finance, Accounting, etc.)
