We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as a crucial link between business objectives and technology solutions by analyzing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and driving the implementation of effective solutions. What You'll Do…
- Elicit and Document Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements.
- Analyze and Improve Processes: Evaluate existing business processes, analyze data to identify trends and insights, and recommend improvements.
- Assess Risks and Priorities: Evaluate the risks associated with various solutions and designs, and prioritize competing business demands effectively.
- Develop Process Models: Create process models and workflows to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Recommend Innovative Solutions: Propose innovative solutions to optimize and streamline business operations.
- Design and Implement Solutions: Work with technical teams to design and implement solutions that align with business requirements.
- Create Specifications and Use Cases: Develop functional specifications, use cases, and user stories to guide the development process.
- Ensure Quality Standards: Validate that solutions are thoroughly tested and meet established quality standards.
- Facilitate Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate across functions during specification, testing, and initial implementation phases to ensure seamless delivery.
What You’ll Need…
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Prior experience working as a Business Analyst in Shipping and Logistics.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Strong in EI integration and understands integration flow and mapping.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including business teams and external partners.
- Keen attention to detail in identifying and implementing improved workflows and solutions within software applications, with a collaborative approach to team ideas and product development.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Visio, JIRA, and SQL).
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile and Waterfall).
- Knowledge of SoapUI and Postman is a plus.
