Responsibilities
As Senior Business Analyst, you will be at the forefront of our innovation, driving change and making an impact.
Leading and influencing our business in requirements of public safety legislation, monitoring, reporting and transforming raw data, you will be required to analyse data consisting of volume, velocity and variety.
You will identify and manage system improvements with our Centre of Excellence and Back Office teams, ensuring processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with business needs. By tracking key performance metrics and analysing internal and industry data, you will extract meaningful insights that support informed decision-making.
With a strong customer focus, you will assess the impact of proposed changes and ensure every improvement enhances the customer experience.
You will apply analytical problem-solving to uncover opportunities for optimisation and innovation, working both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions.
Your role will include monitoring, reporting, and transforming raw data to validate invoicing processes and support continuous improvement. You will also lead enhancements and automations across invoicing, access requests, and approval workflows to streamline operations.
Occasional travel within the UK and internationally may be required to support collaboration and project delivery.
What you’ll bring
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, Synapse, and PowerBI to create reports, automate checks, and unravel financial challenges.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to forge alliances across teams and bridge gaps.
- A proactive, self-managed approach to work, with the ability to drive projects forward independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical skills and a track record of innovative thinking in process improvement and automation.
