Team: Product
The Product team is hiring a Business Analyst to define feature execution. This
role is essential for aligning company priorities with effective day-to-day
operations and evolving early-stage ideas into future-growth initiatives. The
successful candidate will ensure the cross-functional alignment of goals and
execution, helping teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward.
What you will be doing
Initiative Execution
- This function focuses on defining and delivering high-value product increments in alignment with the larger PortFolio Management plan (PFM).
- Feature Definition & Prioritization: With the Product Manager’s support define and elaborate on Features and Stories, including acceptance criteria, that realize capabilities from the program backlog. Ensure the work is technically viable and delivers appropriate business value.
- Market Alignment: Understanding of the current financial and payment processing landscape.
- Team Support: With the Product Manager’s support ensure the team has a clear understanding of the 'why' behind the work during iteration planning and daily interactions.
- Internal & External Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers (including legal, risk, and compliance stakeholders) to analyze information needs and define functional requirements.
- Roadmap Contribution: Partner with the Product Manager to refine the overall product roadmap and translate strategic themes into defined, executable features.
- Tracking and Reporting: Monitor initiative progress by tracking activities, documenting issues and resolutions, and publishing progress reports with recommended actions.
Analysis
- Performance Monitoring: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reviews and analyses of current development and operational processes.
- Cost & Resource Modeling: Validate resource requirements and develop cost estimate models for proposed FinTech initiatives and feature development.
You
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in a business analysis or product owner capacity within the FinTech or payments industry.
- Detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive.
- Ability to work independently and with others.
- Excellent documentation, planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
