What you’ll do
- Serve as a Mobile Subject Matter Expert (SME) across the full mobile app lifecycle, from discovery through release and optimization.
- Lead requirements gathering specifically for mobile experiences, synthesizing input from diverse stakeholder groups and prioritizing based on user impact, platform constraints, and business value.
- Build and maintain Product Backlogs grounded in mobile-first requirements, user flows, and feature definitions.
- Partner with Design, Engineering, and Product to size and scope mobile features, including OS-specific considerations (iOS and Android), device behaviors, and app ecosystem implications.
- Run ongoing backlog grooming sessions to refine mobile epics, stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with Project Management to manage scope and plan mobile sprints, ensuring alignment with release schedules and in-market updates.
- Document mobile business and functional requirements, including writing user stories, acceptance criteria, annotated wireframes, UX flows, and API or feature dependencies.
- Work closely with Engineering teams to clarify specifications, support mobile feature implementation, and unblock development.
- Review completed mobile development work to validate against requirements, confirm device compatibility, and ensure quality across OS versions.
- Support go-to-market readiness by training teams on supporting systems such as CMS, DAM, and campaign management tools that power mobile content and experiences.
- Monitor in-market app performance, triage incoming issues, and help prioritize bug fixes and enhancement requests.
- You have a 4-year college degree.
- You have deep experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or Product Owner
- supporting mobile app development for iOS, Android, or cross-platform applications.
- You have worked extensively in agency or consulting environments supporting multiple mobile product teams.
- Experience acting as an SME on complex digital and mobile-centric projects spanning Design, Engineering, Analytics, and Strategy.
- Proven experience writing clear business and functional requirements for mobile products, including user stories, journeys, and acceptance criteria.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum and hands-on experience managing mobile sprints and feature delivery.
- Expertise in Confluence and Jira, including mobile-specific workflow patterns such as release trains, app store timelines, and backlog triage.
- Must have hands-on experience delivering and supporting mobile applications in-market.
- Experience with sprint management and partner or stakeholder relationship management.
- Comfortable working with highly creative teams in a product-centric, mobile-first environment.
- Strong ability to manage competing priorities, especially time-sensitive in-market app issues, bugs, or hotfixes.
- Flexibility to work across time zones including US, COL, and VN.
- Experience with CMS platform implementations such as AEM, Sitecore, Drupal, and others, including training users on mobile-integrated workflows.
- Skilled in facilitating requirements workshops and aligning global stakeholders.
- Ability to simplify complex mobile concepts, constraints, and tradeoffs into clear recommendations.
- Strong decision-making orientation and an ability to drive alignment.
- Deep understanding of the full mobile and digital product lifecycle and cross-discipline collaboration.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and service-focused with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
