Role: T24 Business Consultant – Securities & Derivatives

Location: Chennai, India
Work Model: Hybrid (Candidates will be required to work from the Chennai office)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced T24 Business Consultant specializing in Securities and Derivatives to join our Core Banking team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and technology solutions, ensuring that our core banking systems continue to evolve in alignment with business goals, operational excellence, and regulatory standards.

This is a hybrid role requiring strong domain expertise, analytical ability, and the capability to drive business process workshops, design scalable solutions, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders across business and IT functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a bridge between business users, technology teams, and vendors to translate business needs into effective system solutions.

  • Conduct and support Process-Led Workshops (PLWs), and prepare detailed documentation including Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), data mappings, migration plans, and user guides.

  • Lead and coordinate requirement analysis, system enhancement, and solution design for core banking projects.

  • Propose innovative and scalable solutions while ensuring minimal operational or delivery risk.

  • Collaborate closely with project managers and cross-functional teams throughout development, testing, migration, user training, and production release phases.

  • Ensure all system changes align with business objectives, compliance, and regulatory standards.

  • Manage stakeholder expectations by maintaining clarity on requirements, dependencies, and impact analysis.

  • Maintain detailed change logs, track project status, and escalate issues where necessary.

  • Support the end-to-end implementation of system changes, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

Skills & Experience RequirementsProfessional and Technical
  • Minimum 7 years of IT Business Analysis experience focused on Temenos Transact (T24) Core Banking, preferably within Private Banking.

  • Deep expertise in one or more modules:

    • Securities: Equities, Fixed Income, Mutual Funds

    • Derivatives: Options, Structured Products

  • Proven ability to lead PLWs and advise new processes for system implementation or enhancement.

  • Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban).

Personal and Interpersonal
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to challenge requirements and propose scalable, efficient solutions.

  • Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal — including technical documentation proficiency.

  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, capable of working independently or as part of a cross-functional team.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities with diverse stakeholders.

  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of service delivery and quality outcomes.
