We are searching for a Business Analyst who will play a pivotal role in this journey, shaping and realising outcomes that will transform our cargo ecosystem and linked terminal rebuild.
About the role
As a Business Analyst, you will be an agent of change, enabling value-led decision making in one of Air New Zealand’s most complex and high-value opportunity spaces. You’ll develop a deep understanding of customer needs, business processes, and technology, and bring structure and clarity to complex challenges. Your insights will guide decisions that enable early, efficient, and consistent delivery of value.
This role requires curiosity, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to work at pace in a dynamic environment. Experience in logistics, freight, or operations will be an advantage as you navigate the intricacies of our cargo transformation.
About you
You'll bring experience as a Senior Business Analyst, ideally within complex, large-scale projects.
Key experience we're interested in includes:
At least five years as a Senior Business Analyst
Proven ability to deliver impactful, value-led outcomes with a strategic mindset.
A strong customer and business lens, balancing operational and commercial needs.
- Experience navigating complex, cross-domain problem spaces spanning logistics, cargo operations, and technology.
- Proven success working in Agile environments, with strong prioritisation skills to deliver early and in a de-risked manner.
- Confidence to think independently, make recommendations, and influence stakeholders and partners effectively.
- Passion for business Analysis as a craft, with the ability to champion its value proposition across the business.
You’ll play a critical role in shaping Air New Zealand’s transformation, particularly our cargo business and directly contributing to outcomes that strengthen New Zealand’s supply chains and global connectivity. You’ll join a collaborative and supportive team, while also having the opportunity to embrace AI in your craft; helping carve out how business analysis evolves with this technology at Air New Zealand.
