Role Overview
Domain expert who owns end-to-end analytical problem solving, ensuring reliable instrumentation, metrics, and insights that influence decisions.
Main Responsibility
Structure ambiguous business problems, translate them into analytical frameworks, validate product instrumentation, and deliver impactful insights.
Ideal Candidate
Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s; 5–6 years of analytics/product analytics experience.
Knowledge & Competency:
- Expert SQL and advanced data modeling.
- Deep knowledge of BI tools (Metabase, Tableau, Looker).
- Owns Mixpanel (or equivalent) setup and validates instrumentation strategy.
- Designs scalable dashboards and metrics frameworks.
- Comfortable with AI augmentation for debugging queries, automating analysis, and summarization.
- Provides mentorship to junior analysts.
- Competent in Python/R for deeper analysis, automation, or modeling (nice to have).
- Exposure to dbt/analytics engineering and how pipelines work (nice to have).
Personality: Independent, business-minded, proactive, seen as a trusted “go-to” expert by stakeholders.
