Job Summary

As a Senior Business Analyst on our Strategic Initiatives team, you'll be more than an analyst; you'll be a proactive partner, leveraging your analytical prowess to make sense of complex challenges, even with imperfect data, and drive meaningful outcomes. We're looking for someone with a generalist bent and an owner mindset – someone who is eager to step outside their comfort zone, roll up their sleeves, and take ownership of challenges from inception to resolution. Incumbents work with independence and require guidance only for complex or unusual assignments. We may depend on you to provide technical advice to associates and other functional areas.

Essential Functions

Drive Strategic Analysis and Problem Solving: Conduct analysis of complex business problems, market trends, and internal data to identify strategic opportunities and challenges. Develop creative and pragmatic solutions to support strategic initiatives, often requiring an ability to synthesize information from diverse sources and make informed judgments with limited data.

Generate Data-Driven Insights: Translate raw data into actionable insights, developing reports that inform strategic decisions and communicate complex information clearly. You'll make sense of sometimes messy data and provide directionally-accurate insights.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with various stakeholders across the organization, fostering collaboration and aligning diverse perspectives to drive program success. You will embody humility, courage, and confidence in working with diverse teams.

Proactive Program Support: Offer analytical support for strategic initiatives, ensuring projects stay on track, identifying potential roadblocks, and proactively suggesting solutions. Anticipate needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and take initiative to advance strategic objectives.

Communication and Influence: Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams in a clear, concise, and compelling manner, championing data-informed decision-making.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a track record of developing practical and innovative solutions, often requiring a willingness to move outside of your domain expertise

• Proven ability to analyze complex data sets, identify key trends, and draw meaningful conclusions, even with a lot of ambiguity

• Willingness to challenge the status quo and champion bold new solutions

• Advanced organizational skills and business writing skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

• Foundational understanding of AI concepts, capabilities. Ability to identify potential applications of AI to enhance analysis and problem-solving, and a curiosity to explore new technologies

• Project management experience to accurately complete detail data assignments, understand and interpret broad operational / product / financial concepts and their application to the business unit and AAA

• Strong understanding of the use and development of operational models and other related reporting software (preferred)

•  Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI) (preferred)

Education & Experience / Licenses & Certification

• Bachelor's degree in related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• 5+ years experience conducting financial and/or business analysis preferably in a fast-paced, highly-visible environment.

We target between minimum and midpoint of the range, and all offers are subject to a fair pay analysis - Compensation Range: Min: $107,687.00 - Mid: $134,608.00- Max: $161,528.00
