PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Builds relationships and manages expectations across all levels
- Writes Jira tickets, reviews use cases and understands process flow
- Detail oriented
- Participates in various reoccurring meetings and contributes to team success
- Creative problem solver
- Proficient in Microsoft office tools, Jira, and Veeva Vault PromoMats
- Experience with pharmaceutical medical, legal, and regulatory reviews
- Work with the Product Owner (PO) to make sure they document the edge cases and develop acceptance criteria
- Make sure requirements or user stories are documented at the appropriate level for the offshore development team and added to the Jira board
- Work independently to determine edge cases and refine requirements
- Work with additional stakeholders to understand requirements
- Ensure Product Owner has the details needed to make decisions related functionality and requirements
- Work with the user acceptance testing team to ensure that the requirements and acceptance criteria are clear
- Work with any development BAs and teams to answer clarifying questions on requirements
- Working within our SAFe Agile framework
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 8 years of Business Analysis or similar experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have prior pharmaceutical regulatory experience with FDA, MLRO and VVPM
- Outgoing, strong communicator, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good at coming up to speed quickly and handling challenging environments
- No nonsense and direct
- Energetic and takes the initiative
- Confident and a self-starter able to assess needs and take action with limited direction
- Builds relationships and manages expectations across all levels
Skills
- Highly experienced in working with product owners and stakeholders to understand and document key requirements
- Needs to be able to balance and keep track of multiple interdependent projects
- Writes Jira tickets, reviews use cases and understands process flow
- Ability to summarize and document key decisions and next steps and track work to ensure it gets completed
- Capable of facilitating workshops, meetings, and requirement-gathering sessions
- Shows negotiation skills in helping stakeholders balance their needs while aligning with overall business objectives
- Highly experienced in formal and informal change management
- Some experience as a project manager and/or scrum master preferred
- Agile experience preferred
Additional Attributes
- Shows capability to work with clients to understand complex business needs breaking them down into clear and concise requirements
- Thinks strategically to help team align business strategy with long-term goals
Must be able to travel 1-2 times a year to Indianapolis, Indiana.
