Senior Business Analyst

Position Overview

Reporting to the General Manager - Business Applications APAC, you will work closely with stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities, analyse requirements, and deliver technology solutions that improve operational efficiency, support business growth, and maximise the value of our IT investments.

This role is ideal for a senior commercially minded analyst who thrives on solving complex business challenges, engaging with stakeholders, and leading system improvement initiatives from concept through to implementation. 

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders, system owners, and end users to gather, analyse, and document business, operational, and system requirements.
• Lead workshops and design sessions to identify solutions that enhance business processes and information flow.
• Review existing systems and processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend innovative technology solutions.
• Produce business cases, system specifications, process maps, reports, and design documentation.
• Support the planning, design, development, testing, and deployment of new applications and system enhancements.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing, implementation activities, and post-deployment support.
• Develop and maintain project plans and schedules for system improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with project managers and technical teams to ensure project milestones and timelines are achieved.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, governance standards, and software development lifecycle requirements.
• Conduct research and analysis to support software and hardware recommendations.
• Deliver end-user training, user documentation, and change support to ensure successful adoption of new systems.
• Perform cost-benefit and return-on-investment analysis to support technology investment decisions.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members and contribute to critical incident resolution when required. 

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. 

Experience

• Minimum 5 years' experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or a similar role.
• Essential you have solid Oracle HCM set up experience.
• Extensive user knowledge of Oracle Fusion, Oracle HRIS, UKG Kronos.
• Payroll systems and workflow experience highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated experience delivering major business systems transformation and implementation projects.
• Proven capability in requirements elicitation, documentation, analysis, testing, and process improvement.
• Experience developing and delivering user training and supporting organisational change.
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management experience.
• Experience overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software solutions.
• Exposure to hospitality, food services, food production, or food safety systems will be highly regarded.

• Experience with process mapping, business requirements documentation, and systems modelling.
• Sound understanding of financial concepts, reporting, and business systems.
