Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will work as Senior IS Business Analyst and report to the Consumer Intelligence (CIN) Program & Portfolio Manager. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and the technology ecosystem within Core IS, with a strong focus on Business Analysis practices. You will shape, apply, and improve Business Analysis practices to ensure that initiatives are value-driven, clearly scoped, and aligned with business objectives. You will also drive the CIN demand process, support project and portfolio prioritization, planning and change management, and ensure deliverables meet stakeholder expectations.

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact. You’ll be mainly accountable for:
- Providing guidance to Consumer Intelligence teams as part of the Program & Portfolio team, supporting the full lifecycle of demands, solutions, and enhancements.
- Defining, adopting, and improving appropriate Business Analysis methods, tools, and techniques to translate stakeholder needs into clear, value-driven specifications and support their end-to-end delivery using best practices such as UAT.
- Promoting and applying agile best practices across Consumer Intelligence, including planning, grooming, and backlog management.
- Driving CIN demand process, supporting intake, business assessments, prioritization, and coordinated distribution across teams in alignment with management.
- Maintaining the Consumer Intelligence roadmap together with the leadership team and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver value-driven solutions aligned with the Consumer Experience targets & vision. Collaborating with Consumer Intelligence Service Owners on cost/effort estimates of new solutions/service/process improvements.
- Ensuring that all work within CIN follows ABB Regulations, Guidelines, Values, and any required Internal Control requirements.

- Bachelor/master’s degree in technical discipline, such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Business Analysis, preferably in IT, Engineering, Analytics or related industry, with a proven ability to guide and support multiple teams.
- 5+ years working in both Agile and Predictive environments; SCRUM certification is a plus.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a mindset for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with AI technologies like Large Language Models, Machine Learning or Data Science, and the ability to work with technical teams is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of ETL processes, Process Mining tools, programming languages such as SQL, Python, or MATLAB is a strong plus.
- ITIL 4 Foundation certification is desirable; experience with IT Service Management applications (e.g., ServiceNow) and familiarity with project management principles are advantageous.
