Summary
The Senior Business Analyst supports a deposit-focused Business Banking team by delivering analytics, insights, and scalable tools that drive acquisition, onboarding success, funded balance growth, and retention across key verticals (Municipal/Public Funds, VC/PE, Startups, IOLTA, Property Management).
This role reports to the Vice President of Business and Government Banking and works closely with Business Banking leadership, Relationship Managers, Operations, Marketing, and the Chief Data Officer's organization to enhance reporting, improve data discipline, and automate internal processes to increase efficiency and scalability.
Responsibilities
  • Analytics & Opportunity Identification
    • Analyze portfolio and market data to identify deposit growth opportunities.
    • Develop target lists and data-driven prospecting insights.
    • Create trigger-based opportunities aligned to client lifecycle events.
  • Pipeline Reporting & Forecasting
    • Build and maintain dashboards tracking pipeline health and performance.
    • Monitor funded balance ramp and identify trends.
    • Produce recurring performance reporting and support forecasting.
  • Deposit Strategy & Insights
    • Monitor deposit mix, balance stability, and risk.
    • Provide pricing and deposit strategy insights.
    • Support profitability and relationship analysis.
  • Go-to-Market & Enablement
    • Assist senior management with go-to-market planning and execution.
    • Work with Marketing on sales materials and campaign support.
    • Track campaign results and share insights for improvement.
  • Onboarding & Process Improvement
    • Track onboarding performance and improve timelines.
    • Standardize data requirements and improve data quality.
    • Document best practices to streamline onboarding.
  • Operations Automation & Reporting Optimization
    • Assist senior management in identifying automation and reporting improvement opportunities.
    • Work with Innovation and Data teams to support process and reporting enhancements.
    • Help implement changes that reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.

Qualifications
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Experience with Excel, BI tools, SQL and data visualization
  • Ability to build dashboards and automate reporting
  • Process improvement and automation mindset
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong data discipline
  • Experience with CRM and data systems preferred

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Leader Bank salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
Salary Minimum: $92,600.32 - Salary Max: $115,750.40
The range listed is just one component of Leader Bank's total compensation package for team members. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, commissions, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Leader Bank provides a variety of benefits to eligible team members, including health insurance coverage, a team member wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off and vacation.
