The Senior Business Analyst will act as the lead resource for the Data Analytics function, responsible for driving data-driven decision-making across departments. The role involves analyzing institutional data, generating strategic insights, implementing advanced analytics solutions, and presenting key findings to senior leadership to support planning and performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Data Analytics function and team.
Design and implement data analysis frameworks for institutional decision-making
Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
Develop interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Tableau / Power BI
Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to understand data requirements
Present monthly analytical reports and insights to the Hon’ble Chancellor and senior leadership
Ensure data governance, integrity, and standardization across systems
Implement AI and machine learning tools for predictive analytics and automation.
Identify opportunities for process improvement through data insights
Mentor and guide Data Analysts for effective project execution
Educational Qualifications
M.Tech. (Data Science) / M.Sc. (Statistics) / MBA (Business Analytics) or equivalent from a reputed institution or recognized university
Professional Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics / business analytics.
Experience in handling large datasets and analytics projects and presenting insights to senior stakeholders.
Exposure to academic/education sector will be preferred.
Skills and Competencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in BI tools (Tableau / Power BI)
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python / R / SQL
Understanding of AI/ML tools and their applications
Strong data visualization, storytelling, communication, and presentation skills
Leadership, stakeholder management, and ability to handle multiple projects independently
Skills Required
- M.Tech. (Data Science) / M.Sc. (Statistics) / MBA (Business Analytics) or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics / business analytics
- Experience handling large datasets and analytics projects and presenting to senior stakeholders
