Job Overview:
Provides expertise and systems support in the development and enhancement of business systems to deliver new or improved products for clients, as well as effective planning, reporting, and analytical tools for internal functions.
Essential Functions:
- Under general direction, formulate and define system scope and objectives based on user needs and a strong understanding of applicable business systems and requirements
- Analyze business and user needs, document requirements, and translate them into clear and accurate system requirement specifications
- Devise or modify procedures to solve complex business and system problems, considering system capacity, limitations, operating time, and desired outcomes
- Evaluate the business implications of applying technology to current and future business environments
- Provide guidance and mentoring to less‑experienced Business Systems Analysts
- Perform work at a high technical level across most phases of systems analysis, ensuring alignment with business objectives and enterprise standards
- Lead end‑to‑end requirements definition for client implementations and migrations, translating contractual scope and client needs into detailed, IQVIA‑standard Business Requirements Documents
- Define and execute data validation strategies, including file‑level, record‑level, and column‑level checks, reconciliation logic, and exception handling
- Participate in client working sessions, design reviews, and status meetings, providing clear functional guidance and risk identification
- Clearly communicate requirements, impacts, and status to stakeholders
- Serve as a client‑facing functional expert during onboarding, testing, go‑live, and post‑implementation support
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum five (5) years of systems analysis experience
- Knowledge of business‑wide applications, including third‑party software and internal operational systems
- Demonstrated ability to understand client and business requirements, as well as underlying infrastructure applications, systems, and processes
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
Preferred
- Experience supporting IQVIA client‑facing applications and products
- Thorough knowledge of IQVIA data assets and current systems
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $84,600.00 - $211,600.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.Skills Required
