The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst – Process Improvement to join Crown’s newly created Centre of Excellence. This role plays a key part in shaping the future state of end to end workforce planning processes ensuring they are scalable, standardised, compliant and future ready.

The Senior Business Analyst will analyse and document current processes, streamline process maps and workflows, identify inefficiencies, document business requirements, create change impact assessments whilst supporting the delivery of transformation initiatives and enhancing operational excellence. Working closely with business stakeholders and delivery teams, this role ensures that solutions are scalable, fit for purpose and ensures organisational change delivers measurable benefits which aligns to business and commercial outcomes.
 

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading business analysis activities across end-to-end transformation initiatives, including current state assessment, requirements gathering, process mapping and future state design.

  • Driving process improvement and simplification, productivity, identifying gaps, inefficiencies and automation opportunities across end-to-end workforce planning disciplines.

  • Conduct change impact assessments to determine current state vs future state and categorize business risks impacts.

  • Engaging and facilitating structured workshops with business stakeholders to validate assumptions, refine requirements, ensure shared understanding of outcomes and priorities whilst also advocating for standardisation and continuous improvement.

  • Supporting delivery and change enablement, assisting digital squads, writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria (process and technology), and helping ensure solutions are adopted and embedded.

  • Producing and maintaining up to date documentation, including process maps, decision logs, Jira boards, confluence spaces and artefacts that support governance and repeatable ways of working.

About You
You are an analytical, collaborative and outcome focused Business Analyst who enjoys solving complex problems and bringing clarity to transformation work. You excel at breaking down processes, facilitating stakeholder discussions, and producing clear documentation that helps teams move from analysis to execution.

You bring a blend of curiosity, structure and adaptability, with the ability to work across a diverse range of stakeholders and adjust your approach for both agile and waterfall delivery environments. You value simplicity, practical outcomes and building better end to end processes. You are also someone who is not afraid of challenging the status quo and you are also an advocate for continuous improvement and automation.

You will also bring:

  • Strong background in business analysis, process mapping, process engineering or process optimisation within complex environments.

  • High proficiency in analytics tools such as SQL, Python/R, BI platforms, Tableau. Exposure to enterprise workforce management systems would be highly regarded but not necessary for the role.

  • Experience working in a unionised environment with broad experience in navigating enterprise agreements and labour laws.

  • Experience supporting transformation or large-scale change initiatives.

  • Able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, disseminate information/data succinctly, facilitation of workshops and communication across multiple business functions.

  • Broad understanding on translating process improvements and business requirements into tangible commercial outcomes and benefit realisation plans.

  • Qualifications in business, analytics or technology (or equivalent practical experience), with relevant BA or Lean/Six Sigma certifications highly regarded.

Skills Required
