Team/Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Analyst with Transfer Agency Operations Subject Matter Expertise within Securities Services who will contribute to the development of new technologies, improvement of processes and work-flows as well as client, mandatory and regulatory initiatives. 

This role is critical in helping to shape and drive process and technology change across the group. The role requires extensive Transfer Agency operations experience and excellent analytical skills in order to design, test and validate complex solutions and services for our clients and operational teams. Communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively cooperate with multiple stakeholders across Product, Technology, Operations and our Clients. 

What you will do:

  • Co-operate with client, product and technology partners to create end to end target operating model design and solutions ensuring optimum design for risk mitigation, efficiency and adherence to policy and control requirements.

  • Create and monitor measurable success criteria for delivery of operating model delivery.

  • Perform process analysis and design solutions in response to client or operational needs. 

  • Deliver business requirements, prepare testing plans and execute/oversee testing implementation planning and operational readiness.

  • Co-operate closely with business stakeholders in hand with our Product, Technology partners and our clients,  whilst ensuring the right infrastructure to align our vision and strategic goals.  

  • Take proactive actions targeted at minimizing and mitigating implementation & projects risk.

  • Challenge the status quo, display initiative and innovation in coming up with solutions.

  • Perform root cause analysis of common operational problems.

  • Manage client and business ad-hoc queries and requirements.

  • Contribute to project plans that assess resource requirements and timescales for execution to ensure overall project timescales can be met.

  • Involvement in Department initiatives & strategic planning. 

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

What we'll need from you:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Transfer Agency Operations Management supporting end to end client delivery.

  • Thorough understanding of financial market and Transfer Agency.

  • Understanding of BABOK standard and/or IIBA certification is advantageous;  

  • Excellent written and communication skills (English). 

  • Ability to work in fast paced environment under tight deadlines; 

  • Capability to step into project management when required; 

  • Strong analytical skills;  

  • Knowledge of MS Visio, PowerBI is a definite asset.
