Senior Business Analyst, Operations Change Management – Santa Ana, Costa Rica

The Sr. Business Analyst contributes to the effectiveness of operations by combining their expertise on procedures and concepts of their own operational responsibilities with a comprehensive understanding of how those responsibilities integrate with the broader goals of the business unit and company. 

Role Responsibilities

  • Leading operational readiness initiatives to support the release and roll out process of products and services in the retail field.
  • Developing business intelligence reports to support the visibility and analysis process of the behavior of the operations change management work.
  • Consistently meeting initiatives’ deadlines while completing thorough documentation and information sharing throughout.
  • Translating high-level business requirements into operations changes management plans to support the implementation of services and products.
  • Acting as a liaison between operational and support departments and teams.
  • Identifying and recommending improvements to management.
  • Recommending key metrics for tracking performance.
  • Developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and scorecards to track metrics from the different operations change management processes and projects in execution.

Role Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst with a track record of delivering well-documented business requirements, translating business requirements and working in operations (minimum of 5 years).
  • A minimum of 2 years of project management experience and knowledge with the ability to drive or influence projects to successful completion is a must.
  • Experience in complex retail financial services organizations with multiple financial products.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to interact and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all levels of management.
  • Knowledge and experience using Jira Cloud and Confluence Cloud to generate dashboards and report on workload behavior and structure. Also, knowledge in SharePoint, MS Excel, MS Word and Visio Drawing tool along with general familiarity with visual analytic software such as Power BI are preferred.
