Overview

At Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Bank division, you’ll join a team that delivers cutting-edge Securities Services solutions within a dynamic and international environment. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving high-quality software delivery by collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. You will bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation, ensuring clarity in requirements and alignment on priorities. Your work will directly impact risk control tooling and data accuracy across the organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead communication between business owners and the development team to gather and clarify requirements

  • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications, including Business Requirements Document (BRDs), SRS, Functional Requirments Document (FRDs), and user interface (UI) mockups

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support the architecture, data modeling, and risk mitigation strategies

  • Ensure governance and delivery adherence, including service level agreements and incident management

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and promote best practices throughout the software development lifecycle

  • Foster strong stakeholder relationships across Corporate Bank Securities Services to align delivery with business goals

Skills You’ll Need

  • Strong background as a Business/Functional Analyst with expertise in documentation and requirements gathering

  • Deep understanding of securities processing (Clearing, Settlements, Corporate Actions) and SWIFT messaging

  • Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL) and logical data modeling with a technical aptitude

  • Experience working on custody systems and collaborating closely with Information Technology (IT) teams

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC) best practices

  • Ability to manage multiple global stakeholders in a fast-paced environment

  • Service-oriented mindset with excellent relationship management skills

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
