About this Opportunity
As a member of the Professional Services team, located in France, you will largely contribute to the design and delivery work for specific product and customer solutions, working closely with and developing positive relationships with teammates both locally and within other countries. As part of the rapidly evolving technologies within the broadcast industry, you will take the ownership and be responsible for design and delivery of components of this strategy. Additionally, there will be collaboration with other technical specialists, and with the infrastructure delivery and operations teams to deliver the outstanding solutions on which the business operates.

Key Responsibilities
• Participate on technology design, installation, and integration projects with complex, leading-edge technology in an increasingly broadcast IP and IT centric environment. This includes broadcast and server-based systems, data networking (e.g., routers, switches) and other comparable equipment.
• Installation of audio & video broadcast/IT equipment. This includes equipment within the production facilities such as control rooms and studios (cameras, switchers, audio mixers, multi-viewers, intercom system, monitors, graphic equipment, server/playback, steaming encoder/decoders etc.) and related supporting infrastructure in data center and master control areas, transmission sites and throughout any broadcast infrastructure plants
• Writing functional acceptance specifications • Manage supplier interventions and validate their deliverables
• Work in close collaboration with the project management team to ensure the smooth running of projects
• Provide the necessary documentation and knowledge to the client or internal operational teams to enable them to use the services
The ideal candidate would have:
• Education: Academic degree, minimum on master level, in engineering (Audiovisual and Digital Degree level + IT network Master or equivalent)
• Experience in maintenance and configuration of Audio & Video broadcast IT equipment is strongly appreciated

• Knowledge of broadcast and IT infrastructure including:
o Technical spaces (control rooms, studios, terminal gear/equipment/central apparatus/distribution riser rooms and data centers)
o Associated production systems (A/V and data routing, signal processing, cameras, switchers, audio mixers, intercom, encoders/encoding, feeds/edit systems, master control, automation and transmission systems, etc.)
• A working knowledge of IT and data networking is also necessary to work in an increasingly IP and IT centric broadcast/multimedia infrastructure.
• Collaboration with team members, clients and other support groups is required to troubleshoot and resolve issues with broadcast/multimedia systems and computers in our production environments.
