Job Description

The Senior Brand Manager will utilise their strategic mindset and a strong background in product marketing to create and implement marketing strategies to promote Montu’s brands and products. They will lead the brand marketing efforts and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive growth of our brand portfolio, ensure brand consistency and successfully manage campaigns. 
Strategic Planning:

  • Leading the development, implementation and execution of commercial and product marketing strategies and plans to achieve brand growth objectives e.g. market analysis, positioning, segmentation, forecasting, product launches, pricing strategies, development of demand generation campaigns and marketing materials.
  • Identify growth opportunities for Montu’s product portfolio.
  • Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimise accordingly
  • Develop and implement product launch strategies

Brand Identity Development:

  • Work with cross functionally to develop new brands including visual identity, brand messaging, style guides, and packaging
  • Define and communicate our brand's unique value proposition.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure effective product positioning of existing and new products
  • Crafting clear and compelling brand messaging and unique value proposition to ensure competitiveness in market 
  • Lead the development of visual narratives that tell the brand's story and engage audiences across different touchpoints.

Campaign Management:

  • Develop and end-to-end execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, print, and events, targeting a clinical audience.
  • Monitor sales results and modify product focus/promotional plans accordingly.
  • Create and be accountable for a campaign calendar, ensuring timely and successful execution. 
  • Stay abreast of industry trends to identify new opportunities.

Marketing Collateral Creation:

  • Develop marketing collateral briefs for the creative and content teams such as eDMs, brochures, flyers, banners, presentations, and digital assets.
  • Oversee content creation and distribution, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and target audience.
  • Ensure brand consistency is maintained across all communications and collateral.
  • Oversee our product information on websites (internal and external).

Project Management:

  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Identify and address any potential roadblocks or challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project stakeholders, ensuring they are well informed of project status and updates. 

Data-Driven Decision Making and Reporting:

  • Analyse market data, consumer insights, and competitive intelligence to make data-driven decisions.
  • Adjust brand strategies based on performance metrics and market dynamics.
  • Leverage data analytics to understand the drivers of success and areas for improvement.
  • Utilise key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  • Gather feedback from customers/sales teams to inform marketing strategies.

Qualifications

In addition to these foundations, you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience as a product/brand manager within Healthcare
  • An effective leader who role models ownership to drive the team deliver above-market performance.
  • Proven experience with Category Management
  • Proven Experience marketing to HCPs (Health Care Professionals)
  • Proven experience developing strategic marketing plans that generated growth
  • Proven expertise in crafting new brand identities, encompassing messaging and packaging development.
  • Experience developing and executing product launch strategies and campaigns
  • Highly skilled in analysing and interpreting data to drive informed decision-making.
  • Strong understanding of branding and marketing principles.
  • Strong understanding of a clinical audience and ensure campaigns effectively target and engage the intended audience, in particular for prescription based medicines.
  • Experience anticipating market trends, identifying opportunities, and formulating strategies that give the brand a competitive edge.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams and meet deadlines
