You create and implement the innovation/renovation strategy that is aligned with the brand vision to drive sustainable growth.
How you will contribute
You will work with others in Mondelēz International to determine an innovation strategy and priorities to enable consumer-centric brand growth and execute commercial innovation plans on innovation based on identified goals. In partnership with brand teams, you will define and deliver plans to renovate the core brand and to strengthen the entire portfolio through innovation and renovation. You will also manage the portfolio (which includes brand architecture). In this role, you are accountable for revenue and profit, sharing objectives as they relate to innovation, and monitoring performance against key performance indicators. Based on your deep consumer insights, brand strategy and positioning, you will integrate innovation into marketing communication plans and campaigns.

What you need to know about this position:
Category Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for the Baked Snacks & Chocolates Category, aligned with Mondelēz's global objectives and local market needs.
- Conduct thorough market analysis, including consumer insights, competitive analysis, and trend identification, to inform strategic decisions.
- Identify and evaluate new product opportunities and market expansion strategies.
Chocolate & Baked Snack Brand Management:
- Oversee the development and execution of brand marketing plans, including advertising, promotion, digital marketing, and public relations with the global/regional brand strategy while adapting to local consumer preferences.
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
- Manage the brand budget and track marketing performance against key metrics.
- Manage the brand portfolio, driving innovation and new product development to meet consumer demand and market trends.
Product Innovation:
- Collaborate with R&D, Strategy & Insights, and Sales teams to identify and develop new product innovations that meet consumer needs and drive category growth.
- Lead the launch of new products, including developing marketing plans, sales materials, and promotional activities.
Market Analysis & Insights:
- Utilize consumer research and data analysis to understand consumer behavior, preferences, and motivations.
- Translate consumer insights into actionable marketing strategies and product development initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze consumer feedback and adjust marketing plans accordingly.
Integrated Marketing Campaigns:
- Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, social media, TV, in-store, etc.).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, finance, supply chain) to ensure alignment and successful implementation of marketing initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with senior management and other stakeholders on category.
Budget Management:
- Manage the marketing budget for Chocolate & Baked Snack categories, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, adjusting strategies as needed to meet financial targets.
- Track marketing spend and ensure that it is aligned with budget guidelines.
- Analyze marketing ROI and make recommendations for optimizing marketing spend.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as market share, sales growth, brand awareness, and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare regular reports on category performance and present findings to senior management.
- Identify and address performance gaps and develop corrective action plans.
Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including global teams, local partners, and agencies.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration to drive category success.
