Position Summary:

This role is responsible for owning and managing Global Brand Level P&Ls (Global, Regional & Channel) for specific W&S brands, including but not limited to:

  • Developing and delivering on global brand strategies and influencing strategic decisions and long range plan

  • Oversight and management of global marketing spend budgets, and

  • Responsibility for development of financial models to support and provide visibility to the innovation stage-gate process. 

The scope of the role will include annual and long-term financial planning (including monetization of brand building blocks), monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting, accounting, internal controls, spend analytics, and ad hoc business support.

Responsibilities:

Ownership of Global Brand level P&Ls (by channel and geography), including global marketing budgets, for specific W&S brands.

Decision Support for Brand Management (50%):

  • Support the Brand Managers in developing and delivering on global brand strategies through channel & geo mix, pricing (Price to Consumer/Retailer), product portfolio (NPD projects and SKU rationalization), product specifications (COGS) and marketing initiatives (Promotional and Marketing)

  • Provide financial direction and decision support to the Brand Managers as they influence the sales organization in managing Gross to Net Pricing and Promotions and Local Marketing Spend.

  • Provide fact-based recommendations using internal & external data, analytical tools, understanding of product life cycle and market dynamics to improve day-to-day decisions in the best interest of the brand

  • Support brand management in special projects, preparation of presentations, etc.

Manage global Marketing budgets (25%):

  • Finance support including forecasting, planning, monthly reporting, ad-hoc analysis, monthly accruals in accordance with company policy and adherence to company internal controls

  • Identify areas of opportunity to optimize marketing expenditures through ROI or other savings analysis

Support the S&OP and Stage-gate process (15%):

  • Lead the development of P&Ls for new product launches for Brand, working cross-functionally to gather inputs, vet assumptions and provide recommendations on project

  • Develop and present project materials for monthly NPD reviews to executive management

Process Improvement (5%):

  • Lead continuous improvement efforts across the marketing organization in the areas of financial accounting & reporting, new product development, etc.

  • Develop, generate, and automate various dashboards that improve transparency and provide actionable insights to all aspects of the business.

  • Provide ongoing education to Brand Management team on P&L management and analysis

Qualifications:

  • Education/Experience – bachelor’s degree in analytical field required, concentration in Finance preferred

  • 4-6 years of Finance and Accounting experience in CPG, manufacturing and/or sales organization.

  • Beverage Industry experience preferred

  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) required, knowledge of planning and financial reporting systems (OneStream, SAP S/4 Hana, Anaplan, Power BI etc.) is preferred. 

Required Competencies:

  • Development and presentation of financial tools, techniques and information that aid and improve the day to day decisions

  • Ability to work under pressure and capable of managing numerous work streams simultaneously

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels and across various functions

  • Strong accounting & reporting skills

The salary range for this role is:

$73,100.00 - $109,600.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.  At Constellation Brands, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
