Rho has a brand system established with a genuine point of view - visual identity, motion principles, a component library, a video practice. The foundation is strong.

We're hiring a Senior Brand Designer to take it further - owning the work that makes Rho's brand land in the world: campaigns, OOH, performance creative, events, social, and partner moments. You'll work directly with the Brand Design Lead and VP of Marketing. You're the person who sets the bar and holds it - someone whose taste is sharp enough to push the work in directions the team hasn't gone yet, and whose craft is strong enough to back it up.

This is an IC role for someone with 5+ years of experience who has built in brand systems, worked fast without losing craft, and has genuine fluency with AI and motion as part of how they work - not as tools they're learning, but as tools that already change what they can ship in a day.

What You'll Do
  • Extend and evolve Rho's visual identity - pushing the brand forward while maintaining coherence across every touchpoint and channel.

  • Drive campaign creative end-to-end, from initial concept through final production across digital, OOH, social, events, and experiential.

  • Design with motion in mind. A digital-first brand has behavior, rhythm, and personality. You'll partner with our video team on storyboards, motion assets, and graphic overlays whether or not you're the one animating it.

  • Translate complex financial concepts into visual storytelling that resonates with a founder audience.

  • Build creative that is on-brand and built to convert, and track the results.

  • Deliver templated, scalable branded materials across Product, Events, Partnerships, and Sales.

  • Use AI to do things that weren't possible before: generating concept variations at speed, writing prompts that produce production-usable assets, and exploring builds that blur the line between design and agentic workflow. You're not waiting for a tutorial - you're figuring it out.

What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years in brand design with a mix of agency and in-house experience.

  • A portfolio demonstrating conceptual range, systems thinking, and high craft across brand identity, campaigns, and multi-channel execution.

  • Genuine fluency with AI design tools - already active in your workflow, not aspirational.

  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects), with working knowledge of motion design tools (After Effects, Jitter, or similar).

  • Typography, color, composition, and visual hierarchy are the lens you see through. Bad kerning registers before you've read the word.

  • You design in full brand ecosystems - physical, digital, environmental, experiential - and understand how every expression of a brand relates to the next.

  • You communicate like a creative director: you show up with context, bring stakeholders along early, and articulate decisions with the same clarity you bring to the work.

  • You can tie design decisions to business outcomes - engagement rates, conversion lift, CAC.

  • You take deep ownership of your work and have no territorial instincts about it.

Bonus Points
  • Understanding of product design principles - you design in harmony with a product team, not apart from it.

  • Experience in Cinema 4D, Blender, or other 3D tools.

  • Background in art direction or creative strategy.
    Our people are our most valuable asset. The salary range for this role is $137,700 - $172,000. Base salary may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, and business needs. In addition to base pay, Rho offers equity, healthcare benefits, and paid time off.
