JOB DESCRIPTION & KEY RESULT AREAS

Senior Brand Designer

Brand, packaging, IP, illustration and motion · Together Hospitality

Together Hospitality is a founder-led, multi-brand restaurant group based in Pune. Established in 2016, the group operates seven properties across five brands: Elephant & Co., Cobbler & Crew, Juju, Gather, and Izipizi Street. It employs 600+ people across Pune and Goa. Every Together concept is built to abide by one standard: Seva. It is a core value we apply not only to our guests, but our teams too. This is what a decade of building for the right reasons produces.

In one line. A studio-trained designer who builds the brand worlds, packaging, and IP the rest of the team designs within. Real range across brand systems, packaging, illustration, motion, and typography. At 4 to 6 years no one is elite at all five, so we want you strong across the board, clearly elite in at least one, and set on going deep on the rest with us.

About the role

The Senior Brand Designer makes the work that defines each brand. You take a brand from an idea to a built visual world: identity systems, packaging, ownable IP, and the campaign work that sets how each brand looks and feels. You work independently. Give you a direction and you come back with finished craft the team can build on. You are the standard everyone else designs toward.

You are multimedia by instinct. You illustrate and animate, you understand typography at a level most designers do not, and you stay ahead on the tools. Across five distinct brands you hold each one's craft bar and raise it. Elephant & Co. carries a neighbourhood warmth. Cobbler & Crew carries cocktail prestige. Izipizi Street runs on night-market energy. You keep them distinct and make each one sharper over time.

Where you come from? A creative studio background, doing real consumer brand or F&B work. Formal design education is a plus, not a requirement. The portfolio is what counts. This is a craft and brand-building role. It is not a UI or UX role, and not an in-house five-star hotel design job. Both can be polished. Neither builds brands the way we need to.

Requirements

What you own: brand design and identity systems

·  Build full brand identity systems. The logo, the type system, colour, graphic language, and the rules that hold a brand together across every surface.

·  Design the whole brand world. The full visual system a brand lives inside, so anything made under it is unmistakably that brand.

·  Evolve the existing brands. Sharpen and modernise each of the five where the identity has drifted or dated, while keeping what makes it itself.

·  Document what you build, so juniors, freelancers, and the wider team can produce on-brand work without you in the room.

What you own: packaging and IP creation

·  Design packaging and physical product. Menus as objects, retail and merch packaging, labels, bottles, boxes, take-away, anything a guest holds and keeps.

·  Create ownable IP for each brand. Illustration systems, characters, motifs, patterns, and recurring design properties that become a brand's signature and travel across every touchpoint.

·  Design for the physical object. Stock, finish, print production, and how a piece feels in the hand are part of the design.

·  Design merch a guest would pay for. Pieces someone would actually wear or want, not branded giveaways.

What you own: communication and campaign design

·  Design the hero work for campaigns and launches. The key visual that sets the look, which the day-to-day team then extends across the calendar.

·  Own the communication design where craft matters most. The pieces that shape how a brand is seen.

·  Set the visual system for a campaign, so it reads as one idea across every format, print and digital, on-ground and online.

What you own: illustration and motion

·  Illustrate. Original illustration is a core skill here. It is one of the ways each brand builds a look of its own.

·  Bring the brand to life in motion. Motion signatures, animated identity, and the key motion pieces. You set the standard the motion team extends.

·  Design across mediums. Still, moving, print, physical, and screen, and know which medium an idea belongs in.

What you own: typography, technology, and new-age craft

·  Own typography at a craft level. Typeface choice, pairing, custom lettering, spacing, and hierarchy. You treat typography as a primary design tool and choose typefaces with intent.

·  Stay ahead on tools and technology. AI image and design tools, 3D, generative and new production techniques. You bring new capability to the team and put it to use.

·  Make new-age work. You keep current on where design is going, and push the brands to feel ahead of the city.

·  Keep clean, layered, well-named source files, so nothing is lost and anyone can pick up where you left off.

What this role does not own

·  UI and UX design. This is a brand, craft, and communication role. Product and interface design sit elsewhere.

·  Day-to-day social calendar production. The routine feed and story work belongs to the Graphic Designer. You make the foundational and hero work.

·  Creative strategy and campaign concept. The idea and narrative come from the Creative Strategist. You own how it is built and how it looks.

·  Photography and video production. The Photographer and Videographer shoot. You design with and around the content.
