The Senior Brand Communications Manager, North Asia will partner with global, regional, and local teams across divisions and markets to develop and execute a coherent, impactful communications strategy for North Asia, strengthening the brand's advocacy among target audiences and supporting business across the three divisions. This role will strengthen the communications community and promote cross-market collaboration and best practice adoption to amplify our unified voice and enhance the brand's positive influence in North Asia. This role will report directly to the Head of Communications, North Asia, and will be based in Hong Kong.

Brand Communications and Public Relations across divisions:

  • Build a coherent, innovative and impactful public relations strategy to grow the positive influence and impact of CHANEL in the North Asia region across Fashion, Fragrance and Beauty as well as Watches and Fine Jewelry divisions.

  • Act as the strategic advisor to division teams and market teams to elevate brand visibility and leadership through compelling storytelling and tailored communications

  • Support business by creating appealing storytelling and trustful emotional connection with clients.

  • Identify cross-market opportunities and create collaboration and synergy among the region to maximize impact and benefit for each market wherever possible.

Influence strategy:

  • Be part of the global Influence committee to develop an impactful influence strategy and measurement guideline across the House.

  • Build influence through 360 touchpoints to enhance the ultimate luxury brand image, and leverage influencers, content creators, and celebrities to enhance decisive leadership across three divisions.

  • Act as a master of PR and social media trend and an expert of multi-markets, particularly Mainland China and Korea, to be able to provide strategic counsel.

Global-Regional-Market Alignment:

  • Partner with global divisions, regional divisions and each local market PR teams on cultivating a community of integrated team of communication experts and fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.

  • Represent the region in global editorial forums, ensuring two-way communication and influence.

What you can bring to the team…

  • Education: Bachelor's degree and above in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Experience: A minimum of 8-12 years of progressive experience in communications, public relations, media relations or social media. A mix of in-house and agency experience is preferred.

  • Complete fluency in written and spoken English is essential; Professional proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin or Korean would be a significant advantage.

  • Multi-market experience and knowledge of China and South Korea is critical.

  • Demonstrated track record of developing and executing successful, high-impact PR and communications campaigns.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders and cultivating strong internal and external partnerships.

  • Innovative communicator, highly collaborative, poised, results-oriented, and able to navigate a complex, matrixed organization.

Skills Required
