Role Description
Assist the BIM Coordinator to deliver the allocated projects to meet the project goals and deliverable dates. Provide 3 stages of drawing work during project execution: Drawing Set-up, Drawing Production and Drawing Submission. Lead the team in drawing production and standard implementation in strategic direction as instructed by BIM Coordinator. Supports in providing direction in emerging technologies associated with CAD and Revit and lastly, researches and develops opportunity for process improvement, application and data integration with CAD and Revit.
Role accountabilities:
- Carry out technical Revit operations in accordance with the company systems.
- Preparation of Structural General Arrangement, Post Tension Concrete, Reinforced Concrete and Structural Steelwork drawings.
- Able to work under minimum supervision and achieve deadlines for all tasks.
- Work in accordance with Arcadis CAD/Revit standards and any specific project requirements.
- Ability to work within team and produce high quality work and meet tight deadlines and the ability to work in a systematic and methodical manner.
- Lead small projects, liaising with lead office and producing Project progress reports for the lead office.
- Able to manage and supervise drafting and resources for successful delivery on all projects.
- Undertake checking and quality control in accordance with Arcadis CAD standards and any specific project requirements.
- Good understanding of Revit Family creation.
- Provide direction, supervision and Revit training if required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
- At least 3 years of experience with Revit software. Experience in the use of the Dynamo is an advantage.
- Job experience in design consulting firm is required
- Proficient in Microsoft Application (word, excel, outlook)
- Overseas Experience is advantage (work in other countries or project design out-sourcing company)
- Communicates effectively both orally and on paper
- Has a systematic and methodological approach
- Can quickly adopt to drawing standards
