Senior BIM Modeller - Civils

Role description:

Support delivery of high-quality, coordinated, and standards-compliant civil BIM models and
drawings for urban development and data center projects, ensuring alignment with programme, cost,
and safety requirements through efficient production, multidisciplinary coordination, and continuous
improvement.

Role accountabilities:

• Perform the role in accordance with the organization’s behavioral framework.
• Produce BIM Models and drawings aligned with programme, quality, budget, and safety
  objectives.
• Manage model and drawing data to ensure the latest coordinated information is used.
• Update models/drawings based on markups and coordination feedback.
• Maintain up-to-date federated models with all required links and references.
• Identify and flag clashes, inconsistencies, and design issues to engineers/BIM leads.
• Update and manage X-refs, data shortcuts, and model references.
• Ensure drawings comply with Arcadis and project BIM standards (ISO 19650, EIR, BEP).
• Follow established processes, procedures, and tools in line with GEC and Arcadis
  standards.
• Utilize standardized calculations, digital tools & workflows, and automation to improve
  delivery efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your line manager or Arcadis from time to time.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree Architecture or equivalent BIM-related technical certification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience delivering multi-disciplinary design and modelling projects
  using industry-standard BIM platforms (Civil 3D, ACC, Bluebeam, Dynamo (Civil 3D),
  Python, Inventor, Navisworks, and Autodesk Forma).
• Experience delivering urban development projects (roads, drainage, utilities, earthworks),
  with data center and civil project experience considered advantageous.
• Developing knowledge of the UK, North American, and EU BIM and drawing delivery
  standards applicable to data center projects.
• Awareness of ISO 19650 standard, BIM workflows, and digital tools to support efficient
  project delivery.
• Proactive in supporting team members and contributing to team development.
  Able to work independently with minimal supervision and perform effectively under pressure
